Purpose

The Worship Ministry at our church is dedicated to guiding the body of Christ into God-centered worship that inspires both awe (Psalm 46:10) and exuberance (Psalm 98:4). Through scriptures (1 Tim 4:13), prayer (1 Tim 2:1-2), song (Col 3:16), preaching (1 Cor 14:26), and giving (1 Chron 29:14-17), we aim to edify our members (1 Cor 14:26), encourage a lifestyle of worship (Rom 12:1), and draw all people to Christ (John 12:32).

Church Member Responsibilities

While not every member is gifted by the Spirit as an exhorter or encourager (Rom 12:8), every member is called to be a worshipper of God (John 4:23-24). Just as the early church devoted themselves to discipleship, our members are encouraged to engage in the Worship Ministry either as worshippers or as Spirit-gifted exhorters/encouragers.

Lead Team

The Worship Ministry Lead Team comprises church members gifted in exhortation, words of wisdom and knowledge, prophecy, and similar spiritual gifts. The team includes appointed deacon(s), who may serve as lead team members or as helpers and observers. The pastor serves as the elder/overseer of the team (1 Peter 5:1-5).
